Cameron Toll Dan Boeckner + Devojka = best musical synergy of ‘10s. The synth tapestries in this, their latest, are especially riveting. Devojka should release a solo album.

Sociopolitical observation filtered through a surreal poetic prism and delivered via a swirl of driving beats, suitably plastic synths, and the aching emotion of Boeckner’s great voice. A snapshot of postmodern alienation and late-capitalist nightmares; a musical probing for some hope in the bleakness, briefly punching through the deluge of data and debris; a churning, cathartic release for the overwhelming days and nights that keep coming on. Favorite track: I Feel Emotion.

Dean Vance Ever so rarely, a stone along your path turns out to be a diamond. This album is one of those strange treasures. Beyond anything I've heard in ages. Fantastic soundtrack for everything from winding down to mundane tasks to heading out for the night. There's something here for every mood. Never fails to raise my vibration and get me head bopping. Stupendous!
